According to researches kibbutz Ma’anit is located on the desolation of “Narbata” – a small Jewish settlement from the Roman period
Plenty reminds were found: Sarcophaguses, tools, coins and an ancient Roman gate The kibbutz adopted the name “Narbata” and added it to Ma’anit Recently there are some researches that disagree with this location as Ancient Narbata
